Online Pediatric Consultation with Dr. Vannala Raju

I offer online video consultations for children and newborns through the VRA Health app. A video visit is useful when your child is stable and you need advice, a follow-up or a review of reports, but it does not replace an examination when one is needed. On this page I explain what I can and cannot handle online and how to book.

What I can help with online

  • Follow-up after a clinic or hospital visit, and review of blood tests, X-rays or scan reports
  • Mild fever, cold, cough or loose motions in a child who is alert, drinking well and passing urine
  • Feeding, breastfeeding and starting solids questions, and newborn care doubts
  • Growth, weight and developmental milestone questions
  • Vaccination schedule planning and questions about side effects
  • Rashes, allergies and skin concerns that can be seen clearly on camera
  • Second opinions and advice for families living outside Hyderabad

What needs an in-person visit

  • Any condition where I need to examine the chest, ears, throat or abdomen properly
  • Vaccinations, blood tests, and newborn jaundice checks that need a bilirubin test
  • A baby under 3 months with fever, or a child whose fever is not settling
  • Children who look unwell, very sleepy, or are not feeding or drinking

For these I will ask you to see me at Cygnet Superspeciality Clinics, Czech Colony or at Virinchi Hospitals, Banjara Hills.

Emergencies: go to the hospital, not online

Do not wait for a video call if your child has difficulty breathing, blue or grey lips, a seizure (fit), unusual drowsiness or is hard to wake, repeated vomiting, signs of dehydration (no urine for 6 to 8 hours, very dry mouth), a severe injury, a suspected poisoning, or is a newborn who is not feeding. Go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.

How to book a video consultation

  • Open my profile on the VRA Health app or website: Dr. Raju Vannala on VRA Health.
  • Choose a time slot and fill in your child’s details, age, weight and the main concern.
  • Pay on the app. My consultation fee on VRA Health is ₹550; platform charges and taxes are added, and the app shows the final amount before you pay.
  • Keep earlier prescriptions, reports and vaccination card ready, and join the video call from a quiet, well-lit place so I can see your child clearly.
  • After the call you get a digital prescription and advice on the app.

I consult online in English, Hindi and Telugu.

Book a clinic visit: call +91 79979 95500 or book an appointment online. For a video consultation, book on the VRA Health app.
